Murder is murder, no matter who is pulling the trigger or releasing the trap door on the gallows. It doesn't matter if you have a government backing you up in murdering someone, it's still murder. The death penalty is just revenge killing in a different name. It's uncivilized and unnecessary, but idiots will continue to think in the same vein as "two wrongs make a right"..

Mark G: Our pResident knew about the secret CIA torture prisons overseas. He suspended habeas corpus. He has deemed himself above the law by issuing "signing statements" which he thinks allow him to bypass any inconvenient laws at whim. Illegal wiretapping in direct contravention of FISA and the Fourth Amendment. HE KNOWS THAT US TROOPS ARE USING DEPLETED URANIUM, WHITE PHOSPHORUS, AND NAPALM AGAINST CIVILIANS IN IRAQ! Using those weapons is directly against Geneva Conventions and dozens of weapons treaties our country has signed. He is very open to impeachment and international prosecution for war crimes, if we actually had a responsible and reasonable opposition party, which we don't.

Saddam's trial was a lynching supported and encouraged by the US via Bush administration. He did not get a fair trial. Again another lie, when Bush says it was Iraqi democracy and that sentenced him to death, but the US had him in their custody and handed him over to Iraqis two hours before the hanging. That makes US complicit in murder as the process was unacceptable according to American law and after all dont we still occupy that so called democracy. Gosh this is a nightmare. Yes Saddam is a bad guy and so is GW BUSH. I have a feeling that at this point BUSH is responsible for more deaths than Saddam was.
I dont believe anyone should hang, nor put to death by another person. Note while Bush was governor a record number of people were executed. The man is a hypocrite, a liar and yes a murderer. Imagine...the USA!!!!

Saddam was tried and convicted by an Iraqi court. They condemned him to death by hanging. In the U.S. hanging is considered cruel and inhuman, so we very politely injected people with drugs.
We can't put Bush up for crimes against the world because he hasn't committed any. Even if he had, evidence and proof would be necessary. Its called due process. I have no doubt that crimes have been committed. I highly doubt that George W. Bush committed them. Don't you think that if there was the remotest possibility that any crime could be charged to Bush that Nancy Pelosi and her barrel of monkeys would have already tried to pin it on him? They don't seem to mind hurling baseless accusations and absurdities at him, so who knows...we'll see.
So, I guess that means I don't agree.

Well, first of all Bush hasn't attempted genocide on anybody. Secondly, he hasn't had anybody put to death (that we know of) for simply opposing his views.

I guess what I am saying is that the political leader of Iraq that was put to death was running down the same path as leaders like Hitler and Stalin. Whether or not you agree with the war in Iraq, you have to agree that the slaughter of innocent civilians is wrong, and attempted genocide is wrong. I don't agree with many things that Bush does, but when it comes to a country executing a man who killed hundreds of thousands and tried genocide, I say let a country uphold its law.

If your argument is over whether the death penalty is in violation of human rights or not, I respect your opinion. If your argument is whether a mass murderer should be punished for his crimes, simply based upon the fact that the United States government may have possibly played some sort of rule in said sentence, well I guess that shows that no matter what, many will be opposed simply based on the fact that someone else did it.

It is fair to put Bush for hanging for crimes against the world.
But i am sure that he will be afraid to die: he will cry like a puppet:)

Saddam died like a HERO.From this moment,Saddam is a HERO.
Before execution ,SADDAM said ''This is my end, this is the end of my life, but I started my life as a fighter and as a political militant so death does not frighten me.''Rest in peace.

At least 2,983 members of the U.S. military have been killed since the Iraq war began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

I am sorry, but I think that U.S military deserve that fortune, because they listen a stupied president.

Well Saddam is a genocidal murder/maniacal tyrant. Some estimate he is responsible for a million deaths. He has been punished justly for his horrific crimes against humanity. How can you call killing this man terrorism. He got what he deserved.

As for the Bush comment and your seriously deluded world view. You must have either been drinking or have a hamster on a wheel for a brain.

The Iraqis tried and hung Saddam not the US. Try finding something legitimate to grip about. You obviously do not know anything about international law. There has been no violations of international law to charge him with a war crime. Like Bush or not you have to be guilty of something to be tried for a crime. If every leader that went to war was tried for a war crime we would have to execute every leader in most countries. The only exception might be Chirac, and he would have to go to prison for extortion and theft of the UN's oil for food money.

First of all. I don't like Bush either but I don't want him dead.

Also, you're right about the terrorism by another idealogy. But what isn't? Politically correct is so over-rated.

You have a choice. Israel has existed for thousands of years. Or, you can take the "history revised" version and see that the UN formed Israel. So, either God is a terrorist or the UN are terrorists. Personally, I will agree if you say the UN, but the rest of your assessment is incorrect.

First of all, as a US citizen, our President would not be subject to US hanging, regardless. We do not execute in this manner.

Secondly, as a US citizen, our President would be afforded the right to counsel.

Get real, you couldn't get a conviction against the President for jaywalking.
