I usually just browse through the questions and answers on here, but I have to comment. I am a gay man. If you have ever had been to a gay bar you would find that gay men are a really diverse group....just like straight men.
I have to say that I laughed out loud at the truth of Suzanne's response above:
"No, some of them a fat slobs just like straight men."
So much truth its just plain funny.......rofl.

No---stupid stereotype. Bodybuilders are not gay, some may be but for the most part they are heterosexual males. Lots of guys that are well built are doing the exercise to make themselves look better and feel better, with the side effect of attracting females to them also. Sure some gay guys may be buff too, but so what. If you want to go to the gym and work out, do so, no gay muscle bound guys are going to attack you.

one of my best friends are gay and not all gays have muscle bodies but most of them do because they are not ready to come out of the closet yet and they want to look as manly as possible so people wont assume they are and that makes a less chance of them getting picked on because this is a really hard thing for them to come to terms with and studies show they don't have a choice they are born that way there is a small part of your brain in the back and if it is shaped like a butterfly then chances are you are gay so i hope this has answered your question

gay guys want nicely developed bodies for the same reason straight guys do - so they look good and feel good about themselves. anythign else is just icing on the cake for both gays and straights.
