I am a semi-pro QB and asked a question on here a few days ago and I think one of my teammates left a really unkind answer. If it is the guy I think it was then I thought he was a friend and good teammate. Why would a teammate do something like that?

I am a semi-pro QB and asked a question on here a few days ago and I think one of my teammates left a really unkind answer. If it is the guy I think it was then I thought he was a friend and good teammate. I know it had to be someone that knows me from my team because my user name tells them the team name and my number. Why would a teammate do something like that?

As a teammate, and leader of the team (inherent with the position of qb), you should ask him about it. Talk to him man to man, and resolve it. There should never be any question of trust between teammates. Either it wasn't him, or there should likely be a conversation between the 2 of you to resolve it.

I looked at the question that you are talking about and I was wondering why you think it was your friend/teammate.

I gathered that the response that you are talking about mentioned your skill level. The name of the person who left that response had the word "Troll" in it. If you are message board savvy, then you know a troll is someone who says things just to get mess with people and get them upset. It seems that you "fed the troll"

Depends on what you are calling unkind. Maybe he thought he was being honest and was more of a constructive criticism. Maybe he didn't know it was you and you were simply getting a more unbiased answer. Yeah friends aren't unbiased to your face or even in their thinking. A friend will always think better of you then they would of someone in the same postion that they just didn't know.

It's probably one of the trolls on here. Since school let out for Christmas vacation they have more time to come on here and act like idiots.

I went back and read your question and the answers. It sounds like a team mate and sounds like he does not think much of your skill. Maybe he thinks you are not practicing and playing hard enough.
