It scares the crap outta me but it's my favorite horror movie.

i think halloween was scary, all the sequels weren't. same with most horror movies.

Michael Myers is probably the scariest of the slasher movie bad guys simply because he stalks his victims. Jason just shows up as does Freddie. But the movies however and actually kind of funny to me. I guess because I wasn't allowed to watch them as a kid, so they never were "nightmare" material to me.

I personally don't think it's scary now.. but i used to cause i saw it when i was like 6... i just remember i was young... and it came out a long time ago... but i just rewatched one and it's not that scary... kinda makes me laugh.. the murderer (mike myers) is like oh man.. just kinda far fetched if you know what i mean.. lol

yeah i could see where it would..i am more into the psychological scary types...but there are crazy ppl out there and something like halloween could happen in a sense...silence of the lambs is another-but red dragon really scared me..things like that happen...

Eh. It was good, but there are too many. They killed it.
For a really freaky horror movie try watching these. I prefer forgien horror films. American films tend to be overdone... or they were good and are killed just as Halloween was.
