I bet there is one coming out soon. Almost every 1970's song has or is being remade, and every 1970's tv show has been made into a movie, that now they are going through 1980's tv shows.

No, I've never heard another version of this song either. But the song by David Gates (Bread) is a very pretty song. Maybe no one thinks they can compare to him.

Not that I've heard. I think people think it's 'too 70's', sort of 'bubble gum'. Not dark, not anti anything. Too 'cute' of a song. The words are really good, maybe if it was remade, the music could be a bit edgier or jazzy
