I was wondering, if you farted in public, but it was one of the low pitched silent ones, is it ok to blame the dog, or should you fess up and take responsibility?

I'd blame it on my husband, his are far worse than me or my little dog could muster up together.

Hey! I was walking my dog last week and she farted and I got blamed for it. I was in the city park and she ripped one real good. I tried to tell the truth but.....well.....the way everyone looked at me. They didn't buy it. Grrrrrrrr!!! Also the smug look on my dog's face as we walked away. I believe she was proud of that one.

If your dog really does fart then you will be in a real dilemma. What you should do is fart a second time and tell them that is your dogs name.

It would be a terrible thing to do, blaming a poor old dog that can't talk to defend itself.

I suppose you could, if you had a dog with you, but why be shy. Stand proud for the power you hold over others. Everyone does it - why is everyone so afraid of it. It's nature at it's finest.

if you immediately blame the dog you might as well say you did it yourself. being quick to blame puts right in the spotlight as the guilty party.
