Definitely! She has so much versatility..look at how she played a courtesan in Umrao Jaan, a housewife in Guru, a contemporary woman in Dhoom 2, a battered wife in Provoked, a princess in Jodha Akhbar, ..a roman warrior in The Last Legion..etc. etc. not to mention her almost bagging the National Award for the movie Raincoat, best actress awards in Devdas and Hcdds..now tell me..what kind of roles did her so called contemporaries played i.e Priyanka, Priety and Rani. Action, Drama..she's great..and she's been out there for so long ..that meant a lot.

Yes,of course she is a talented actress.If she is not a talented actress she would not have been in the film industry and of course she would not enter the Hollywood industry.People may talk about her bad character but the same people will talk about her brilliant performances in all her movies.
