The dispute has nothing to do with land or settlements.

The Arabs want the Jews slaughtered. Until they clingto that hope, they should not expect better treatment.

What land did Israel give back to Palestine? All I've heard from FOXnews is more Israeli settlements on the West Bank.

If a ceasefire is called, there should be peace on both sides. The government, from my knowledge, is clearing out the settlements slowly. Apparently, there was approval for new construction which contradicts a promise made by the Israeli government to the Americans.

illegal israeli settlers were forced out of a handful of the hundreds of illegal settlements but Israel still occupies the West Bank and Gaza. this is the longest illegal occupation in the world (longer than Tibet). if i were palestinian i too would be exercising my inalienable right (as enshrined in UN Charter, Article 51) to resist.
