1st of all, ACCOUNTANCY isn't even a word. It sounds like you need a general education long before you'll be ready to decide on a lifetime career.

Overall I would say being a pharmacist is a high demand profession. Accountants are also in demand, but to be comparible I think you would have to get a CPA. The key with accounting, is are you going to try to work for a big company or an accounting firm?
As a pharmacist I think you have set hours, and are paid overtime if that is over 40 hours. You can probably move easier as it is more of "trade" profession, by changing jobs or just transfering with the same company.
I do wonder if pharmacists might get tired of the job after 5 years, where as accounting could be more varied, or you could change departments, or what you are doing.
Good luck

In all honesty, there is a huge difference between the mind of an Accountant vs. a Pharmacist.
They are both at polar ends of the spectrum.
Don't be concerned about employment; literally any post-graduate field will always have openings, because lets face it... people get tired and sick of school after their bachelors, right???
If I were you, I'd volunteer at both an Accounting office as well as a Pharmacy/clinic.
Work as a Pharmacy tech for a couple of months, try it out, see if you like it. Do the same for Accounting. And maybe along the way, you might realize what truly sparks your interest.

You are talking about how you want to earn a living for the rest of your life. Accounting is a sit-down job, not much moving. Pharmacy puts you on your feet most of the time, but pays somewhat better. However, the choice is for YOUR life, so choose what will be more satisfying to you.

Choose something you're interested in. Otherwise, choose something you're good at. Try taking a job assessment test, talking to a career counselor, or interning at different jobs to figure out what you like and are good at. Also, will accounting work be outsourced in the future?

Um why not pick a career that you actually want instead of picking something that sounds good and will make you a lot of money. So my answer is neither accountancy or pharmacy.
