toggle on then off your hold switch
press menu and center button at the same time untill you see the apple logo (6-10 sec)

press the menu and the middle button and hold it for a few seconds until it restarts.
If that doesnt work read your manual

Turn your Ipod off and then press the play/pause button for 6 seconds...if that doesn't work, you may have to send it in, because that happend to my mini and it's completely dead now. :-|

Try to reupdate itc on another computer. Then you will have to put new songs on it!! Thats all i can think of right now!!
