If the person wants you to let go, fighting for them is a waste of your time......and could cost you in self esteem. Besides, you can't own a person, people have a little something called free will, so who exactly would you be fighting against? The one you claim to love or the one/thing that you percieve to be standing in your way of being with him/her? Often, letting go is an expressoin of love....in the deepest most selfless way.

My question to you would be, "Who or what are you fighting with?"
If you are fighting another woman for him, then he should maybe have to prove something to you. If your fighting your feelings for him as in maybe i do or maybe i don't then sit back and time will tell. If the two of you are fighting each other and you really love him, then stop yelling it out or fighting and just listen to him. The fighting may be keeping you from hearing eacch other.

You let go when you know deep in your heart that they don't want you. If they do want you, there is no need to have to fight for them.

Good question.
Yes, there are times you need to fight for someone, and there are times you need to let go.
Here's my litmus test. If this guy loves you sincerely, and is ready to take care of you, the you can fight fir him. If the guy is a movie star just out to have fun and then he runs off, let the guy fly away.

In all relationships the feeling has to be mutual...that is both of you must WANT to be with the other and respect one another, if ever, either of you have the desire to leave or is attracted to someone else, then the relationship is doomed. There is absoluely no point in 'fighting' for it.

You let go when you've had enough, and you fight for them when you need more.

For me, I'd let my guy go if I'm completely sure there's no future for the two of us. I'd fight for him if he loves me and I love him back. I'd let go of him if he's miserable with me. I'd fight for him if he's ready to fight for me back. I'd let go of him if the relationship caused me to lose my identity. And I'd fight for him if it means a happy ending.

If they leave, let them go. You deserve someone who wants to be with you, not someone who needs to be won over.
Winning someone back is usually short lived, too. Maybe it is time for a fresh start?
Hope this helps.
