Truthfully, I'd pick the below 20,000 car and pick a used '03 Jetta or an '04 Passat. But, if I DIDN'T need a car RIGHT NOW (which I do) I would wait five years and get a brand new Rolls-Royce Phantom or Aston-Martin DB9 assuming either brand still makes them in five years.

i'd wait the 5 years, but ONLY if there was a vehicle made that was actually made of metal (not plastic or fiberglass) and had a manual transmission. on second thought, that ain't gonna happen, so i'll take the 20,000 dollar car and sell it for something i really want

it would be nice to have a dream car but being practical i would take the car now. you might not be around in five years so live your life now don't put it on hold
