letting some troll get the best of you...to where you felt you had to change who you are?

Yes. . .well, not necessarily regretted. . .ashamed, maybe? Frustrated. . .lol.
But once I got used to the trolls I found that if I stuck to who I was and remained rational and kind. . .there were several who turned around and ended up being more than what I thought they were.
THAT was fun. . .and a bit of a challenge at times. . .to sort of turn the tables on them.

There are trolls hiding everywhere. Luckily, only the very bold and very stupid venture into the light of day. Those, we can see coming for miles and miles.

The most difficult trolls are the ones that arrive disguised as people we love. Sometimes they offer us poison disguised as caring and concern.

Many have bettered me... and in the past I have changed myself to accommodate the needs and preferences of others. I think I may be over that now. My troll detector is working well.

No, I would not do it. I am who I am and I cannot change the very nature of that. Troll or not don't let someone pressure you into changing who you are and what you believe.

Why should we allow ourselves to change because of someone elses' insecurities? I know what you mean and I had thought about this question in the back of my mind, and it's not worth the stress. Besides, one can explain as much and as often as they want, but unless the other individual doesn't see or accept you, then they can go take a flying you-know-what to the moon.

Yeah, I thought i was in love with this guy and I felt like I had to please him. He told me that I should lose weight because I had a little bit of a tummy, so I did I walked everyday in the morning. He told me that I should act more street, I made a fool of myself. Then one day he says he saw someone come into my house and I had kissed him. That was his way to get rid of me, but I did make a fool of myself and I did let him get the best of me. I wish I never met him.

I have no regrets. I change who I am depending on my moods, that's all. I may let someone else upset me for a while, but I don't really let it get to me for very long.

The only people that ever get the 'best' of me are the ones I love.

I would never change for those who I fail to respect.

Yes, I did and before it got out of hand and I could feel me coming a person I didn't know, I removed myself from the situation.
