Im a plumver and here is your answer
Its not air locked its cloged
Go to Home depot or lows and Get yourself a toilet auger
there about 25bucks.
Its a snake thats made for toilets and very easy to use. (they come with directions and Pics to help you out)
You could use a plunger but they dont work as good as the auger does.
Also a auger will remove toy cars and stuff like that if you have kids.
If you were to call a plumber they would charge you 70 to 100bucks for 5 min of work.
There is 1 more thing you can try if you want
Get a BIG pot of hot water and I Mean HOT when the water is low in the toilet pour the hot water in the toilet. This works alot of the times (Its melts and will losen stuff thats in the trap.
If you need help with the auger or anything else feel free to drop me a line at

Goodluck

You did not mention if the toilet is above ground or not. I will base my answer on a regular toilet that is installed above ground level. Assuming that the toilet was once working OK you most likely have a simple clog. The toilet has a unique design to keep out sewer gasses but creates an easy clog if you try to dispose of too much waste during a flush, such as toilet paper, toys, diapers or sanitary napkins or tampons. In a time of low flow (lowered water volume) toilets, clogs are more common. A good toilet plunger is easiest and cheapest. An auger is more expensive and can get stuck if not used properly and could lead to a larger repair bill. NEVER use a drain cleaner, it is diluted by the water already there and and as the clog is above it, cannot reach it. If all else fails, replace the toilet with a new one that has a better flow and waste disposal.

PLEASE whatever you do, DON"T PUT HOT WATER, OR CHEMICALS IN A TOILET! Vitreous china will crack if it gets too hot. I made a service call to a brand new school, where 8 toilets cracked on the first day of school. I found the pipes had been crossed, and hot water was running to all the toilets in 2 restrooms. It was a very costly mistake that some plumber made, and cost his company several thousands of dollars. As far as your problem, get the closet auger, and try that. It should fix the problem. Good luck!

When Kos said the auger is a snake, he didn't mean a reptile! It's like a long cable with a bulged tip, coiled inside of a funnel-like housing (either plastic or metal, depending on cost). You pull out the length you need -sometimes ALL of it- and then crank the housing so it twists the "snake" inside the pipes. Ram it up and down a few times, and the obstruction gets dislodged. But if it's a toy car clogging the pipe, don't expect to pull it out and be able to play with it again!

Something is clogging the line. You will need to rod out the line. Probably need a plumber.

Don't use clog remover in the toilet. It generates heat that can cause the vitreous china in the toilet bowl to crack.

You may have to use a toilet plunger to unclog it. When my daughter was little, she used way too much tissue once ... and we ended up having to plunge it out.

You will need a toilet plunger.....NOT a regular plunger. The toilet plunger head looks different, and you can get one at any home improvement-type store.

Best of everything!

you may throw off the ph stability of your physique by using washing too a lot. you may attempt to not use water every time and notice if that helps sparkling it up. If not seek for a medical doctors opinion.
