zone alarm is amazing it blocks everything if you have the firewall on HIGH, but sometimes certain programs will not work so you will have to configure it a bit.

I would give it a C. I used to use it when I was running windows ME. Now I use XP so I use windows firewall. Zone alarm does provide a good level of protection but it would mulfunction alot on my PC and stop friendly programs like Internet Explorer from working.

I've been using it for a while, and I have to say that I'm impressed how good it is for a freeware program. It uses more system resources than I wish it would, but I suppose that's the price to pay for protection.
ZoneAlarm is great for blocking annoying programs that try to get on the internet, or even discover is some unknown program is trying to get on the internet. I give it a 4.8/5.

From the exams I even have seen, all of them score ninety six- ninety seven%. Is that good or undesirable? some you pronounced I even have not seen exams on. abode windows Defender which you probably did not point out rankings lowest. some sluggish some computers down and not others inspite of the same ecosystem. the sole factor i be attentive to for confident, is which you incredibly choose one and purely one energetic and a couple of passive ones. they're going to all tutor you something slightly diverse. i exploit avast through accepted computerized updates And it does not sluggish me down like anti vir did. i exploit a2free and spybot as passive. they seem to paintings and that i'm low fee and don't opt to pay if i'm able to get it for unfastened.

in the past, actually it's good...surprisingly it caused my pc to stop, showing a blue screen of death and restarts...it's hard to find out and know that it was zone alarm's fault...after uninstalling it, problem solved!
ashampoo firewall i think works well!

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
download firefox for free, Just have a try:

It is pretty good, but if you are using a router, or have a network provider that uses routers, it will not make much difference, as routers are firewalls.
