I just read a "survey" that asked people who were the hero's and villans of the year. George W. Bush topped both of their lists.

Neither and both. Just like the rest of us. Look, I agree with those who think that GW is not doing a good job. But that does not make him a villain. And doing a good job does not make him a hero. A hero does extraordinary things that the rest of us would not: like the guy who jumped on the subway to save the other person A Villain does bad things to serve his own purposes (Want a villain for President look at Nixon, want a Villain in the current White House look at Chenney) George Bush is a guy who is in over his head who is trying to do the best job he can and measure up to the American People and his daddy. He is not evil, just wrong. Being wrong does not make you a villain. Being bad at your job doesn't make you one either

Did Otherworldtrader just claim that Bush has REDUCED terror? The assessment of the United States OWN intelligence services have concluded that the invasion of Iraq has INCREASED the terrorist threat. Only ill-informed right-wingers are actually pretending Bush has somehow made us safer. He has created an entire new generation of Iraqis with a hatred of the US and the terrorist skills to match. The US armed Bin Laden to fight the Russians. Then they armed Saddam to fight the Iranians. The GOP has a history of creating the very monsters they then claim pose the biggest threat to us. 10 years from now, when a group of Iraqis try to detonate a dirty bomb in a US city, we'll be able to point to Bush's incompetent leadership as the reason why.

VILLIAN.

Fop...he was a one term, governor who would never have succeeded without the reputation of his father...He's no George Herbert (who I voted for). His father is a war hero, served in many areas of government...actually SERVED the people for most of his life. His son comes along and sweeps all the subtly, nuance, and wisdom off the table and shoots from the hip. He doesn't look very far for answers and certainly has no depth to his character or deep understanding of the world, just his version of it...he's done nothing really good and done much to hurt everything from the environment to international prestige

A fop is an pampered fool who thinks he is better than others simply because his ancestors were great. They are better at leading from the rear.

When asked what his most memorable accomplishment was while serving in the whitehouse mr bush replied that his most memorable was catching a 7 lb bass in his pond at the texas ranch.

Mr. Bush set the record for most executions by any govenor in American history while he served as governor of Texas.

Mr. Bush was the FIRST president in U.S. history to enter the white house with a criminal record

In his first 2 years of office, 2 million americans lost their jobs.

One of Mr. Bushs main political contributors during election times was none other than Kenneth Lay, for those of you who don't know that was the former CEO of Enron.

First president in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the human rights commission.

He stands firm in his beleif of being in an war with Iraq, when this very same president went AWOL when int eh national guard.

Took the biggest world sympathy for the U.S. after 9/11, and in less than a year made the U.S. the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in U.S. and world history).

Now don't get me wrong, i'm sure the guys done something right, I just don't know exactly what they may be, and I doubt that it had any importance to running this country.

I vote "Idiotic Villan"

Since when is a proven liar a hero?
Since when is a coward a hero?
Since when is a negligent fool a hero?
Since when is an illiterate who had every opportunity to be literate a hero?
Since when is Bush a hero?
His most heroic moment was when he creeped out of mamma's birth canal, cause that takes a lot of courage and then it was all downhill after that.
I am so angry with that excuse for a man, thanks for the opportunity.

Chucky and Lucky said it all. The man is evil. Anyone that thinks he is a hero is unthinking or just not paying attention. Don't blindly buy into his speech writer's rhetoric. It's lies.
