I always wanted a snake. i got a red tailed boa and it bit my dad one too many time .. i no longer have the snake =)

Hummm. This is a good one, I used to visit the local pet store as a child and got to play with all kinds of different animals. The one that I fell in love with and wanted so bad was a skunk. He was so sweet and was descented already. He'd give me kisses on my face and just so beautiful a creature. For Christmas a few weeks later my mom handed me a large box, in it was a cage with a towel over it. I pulled it out. It was a skunk alright. A STUFFED ONE! I was so mad. I was only 8 yrs. old. To this day I've never got my skunk, but I have lots of other pets. It's funny last week I told my kids this story on Christmas after watching a show on skunks. I still would love to have my skunk. For the one who wants a wolf, I got my wolf and she's wonderful and she is a mix. Now 11 1/2 yrs old. We take her to the local elem. school and talk about her realitives in the wild. She fully look like a full blooded wolf, but is a hybrid well known by the local police and even the mayor loves her. But these animals aren't for everyone. They take a lot of training and care. Minie is very dominate and wouldn't think twice of killing another female dog in her territory. Away from the house she's not dominate at all.

I wanted a chimp but I know realize that chimps are not meant to be pets. I Have since learnt that they are okay as babies but can become unmanageable as adults and have to then be given to a zoo. That could be very traumatic for the chimp especially if he does not adapt and also sad for the human family that he belonged to. Best to stick to the domesticated cats, dogs,rabbits and birds. I never did nor never would get a chimp.

I always wanted a ferret as a child. I did have one for about a year when I was about 4 years old and I remember it being one of the most fun animals I've ever been around.

I wanted a monkey in the worse way. My grandmother actually went to the pet store to buy me one and the owner talked her out of it. He said they were dirty and nasty, and not a good pet for a little girl. If it weren't for him, I would have had one. Sigh!!

To tell you the truth bek lol i always wanted a pig in my child hood life and i always wanted a monkey lol but i only got lucky for one i got a pig lol iv'e had to diff. kinds of pigs one id s regualra bacon pig you take a kill thema nad eat but i never did that and this pig was pink with a cute curly tail and the othe kind i got is a pot belly pig but u cant eat them they dont taste rigght and thier black!! their adorable.

I wanted a wolf...............I got a budgie instead.
No, I've never had one. Wolves can't be pets, but I have been close to them.

Oddly, I wanted a chimp when I was younger, I thought they were so cool... I was so jealous of Micheal Jackson... never got it though.
