well im gonna be honest with you. at 31 you're pretty late to try to start playing football. im 21 right now and im starting to run out of time to play football. but there are a few thing you can do. one is to go to a junior college and try out for their team. then after that is you are good enough, play for a 4 year university. then after that if you are damn good. maybe you might make the pros. another thing you can do is try out for an amateur football team in your area. even with all of these scenerios you still have a long shot at making the pros, but what the hell you only live once so why not go for it, and even if you fail, at least you tried.
good luck

You reach your peak at 25 and its all decline from then. At 31 you might enter, but you wont recover when you get injured. Football is a collision sport, so the chances are that you'll get injured often. If you dont recover fast enough, you wouldn't be able to continue. That's why it's easier play Golf or tennis when you get older. Hope this helps.

Good luck. Usually you have to start in High School, and progress through college ball to even have a shot at the pros. And even then, only 1/2 of 1 percent actually make it there.

Being a pro football player is not easy. The NFL has very strict requirements and it is very competitive.

Get a hold of Shawne Merriman. He has excellent "nutritional supplements" and a killer workout regimen that will make you feel 10 years younger, just don't pee in a cup during training camp.
