OK...I'm 26 weeks pregnant and very average in weight and height (in general). People have been asking me if my belly button has popped out yet.. The answer is NO but is this something I'm going to have to look forward to? I've already got stretch marks (I have sensitive, pale skin so I saw that one coming) but my belly button doesn't look any different than usual. Anyone have any input on when\if that's going to happen...and how early did stretch marks come? (If you couldn't tell...this is my first pregnancy)

I've already got stretch marks and I'm using lotion like crazy! I guess I just didn't think I'd get them this early...and I got them VERY early. So, I'm sure I'll look hiddeous by the time I'm 40 weeks. I feel like I look less pregnant than I did a month ago.. it's strange.

My belly button never popped out; the top (where it is pierced) poked out a little after I took the ring out. I could probably be in the Guiness Book of World Records for "woman with most stretch marks". I used cream every day thoroughout my first pregnancy and Vitamin E oil. I gained 60 pounds, began getting stretch marks 4th month. Try not to gain too much weight. 25-35 pounds is recommended; that is the only way to prevent getting more stretch marks than you want.

If your belly button is going to pop out, it will most likely be later on. Baby still has a good amount of room to move around. I'd guess sometime beyond week 30, probably 35-36. I can't remember exactly with mine. Don't worry though, it will go back in sometime after baby is born.

Stretch marks are genetically predisposed, and there's no way to prevent them if you're destined to have them. You can reduce the amount that you get by keeping your belly lotioned up and avoid scratching. I'd probably also say to avoid lotions that say they will firm up your skin, you don't' really need it tighter at this time! cocoa butter is great, and smells awesome, too.

Everyones pregnancy is dufferent. Your belly button might still pop out within the next few weeks but then again it may not. Mine popped anout around 30 weeks. As for the stretch marks I suggest you rub vitamin e cream into your belly twice a day. Trust me it helps keep the elasticity and reduces stretch marks

With my first pregnancy my belly button never made it out of the hole. Looked normal the whole 39 weeks. Well this time since about 24 weeks it has looked like it is just going to pop, but at 32 weeks it is barely holding in.

As for stretch marks, sadly they made their only appearances on my butt and boobs and boy did they do enough damage.

Your uterus is still slightly enlarged so your belly button may not go back in until the uterus returns to pre pregnancy size. As many other people also mention, every womans body is different. I dont know about the stretch marks. Congrats on your baby.

I think it depends on if you have an inny or an outty. Towards the end of the pregnancy, usually the belly-buttons pop out like a turkey timer. Mine did with both of my pregnancies and so did my sisters, mom, and step-kids. As far as stretchmarks go, it depends on how stretchy your skin is. I got stretchmarks with my first kid but with my second, I didn't get any extra, yet he was a little smaller then my daughter. I've known women who didn't get any stretchmarks at all. NOT FAIR!! They don't go away but they do lighten up. Hope I helped you.

Your belly button may pop out, if so that is an idication that your baby will be on its way soon.
Stretch marks, girl, hopefully you are young and tone, and for us others, well, I look like a road map.
