http://geocities.yahoo.com - you already have a Yahoo ID (you wouldn't be able to post to this site if you didn't) so you can use the same username and password you used to post this question to log into the GeoCities site to create your own web site.

Its hard to tell. You can go through www.bravehost.com and sigh up a website, granted it will have a long url such as http://mysite.bravehost,com

The problem with running an online business using these websites is it is very hard for people to take your seriously since you do not have an official address and accepting payments can be rather tough, since you have to have it set up via a merchant service or something else.

But if you are just looking to have a personal website for something other than a business, this is your best bet, because bravehost does not have any popups..just a link banner across the top of the screen and they offer a load of extras for your website such as bulletins, polls, newsletter, etc.
