How can we limit technology?

Not possible. Progress can't be stopped (unless there's nuclear annihilation).

Try telling the sun not to rise in the morning.

It is a simple fact of life.

We cannot stop progress nor could we stop creativity of the younger generation doing better than the generation already did usually for better or worst.

If we did, isn't that control and power over others intead of benefits for others. Look at some cultures (in USA) already defying progress because they are afriad. Some times you can't win!

However, from your question, technology is science. Science to some people is the only reason because within the boundaries of what they can touch, hear, and see.

What about intutition or telepathy? The people who trust their guts which is always right the first time not the reasoning of science. How did you completely understand my question after the first few lines. There is psyhic comphrension without the need of going to school to know it.

Really, both are part of the same coin.

Allow the government to limit it for us. They can administer laws and regulations that limits some and work on other areas of technology so it doesn't harm our environment in any way...It I'm not sure how that would turn out because our government is a nuclear nation and dependent on foreign oil. to limit technology on oil production and increase it on alternate sources of fuel w/o the need of foreign oil.
