your only 13 and you want to sleep with him. Are you ready to have children because sex makes babies. If your not ready for the responsibility of kids your not ready for the responsibility of sex.

In most states, the legal age of sexual consent is 16 or 17. Technically, you're not legal, but he is, which means if your parents find out and disapprove, they could file statuitory rape charges against him. But, then again, most teens don't pay attention to consent laws anyway. I certainly didn't...
Just beware that he could be taking advantage of you-- I speak from personal experience whan I say that older guys can sometimes take advantage, even prey on younger girls. I would caution against sleeping with him for that reason, but also for the simple reason that I lost my virginity at 14, and I realize now that I was too young. There are lots of things to consider, things that I don't know from your question, like how long you've been seeing each other. Make sure you guys have a good relationship if you're planning to do this. Ask yourself what could change- are you confident that he'll stay with you if you do? Don't just do it to make him stay or to get him attached. It doesn't work. My advice is to wait. If you guys have a good relationship, it'll only be better when you do decide to do it. And by then, you'll know whether or not he's just using you. I recommend not sleeping with him unless you've been dating for a looooong time- I'm talking close to a year, if not more. That'll show you that it isn't just about sex for him, that he really wants to be with you. I'd be cautious.
Also, make sure you're safe. If you think you'll be sexually active soon, get on birth control. If you ask your doctor about it and tell him/her not to tell your parents, they MUST obey your wishes as a matter of confidentiality. You can also go to a Planned Parenthood clinic if there's one near you, and they can talk to you about birth control, safe sex, and how to make good decisions about your body and your sexual health. And USE A CONDOM!! If he doesn't want to, DON'T take no for an answer. It isn't worth getting pregnant or getting an STD just because he doesn't want to wear a rubber. Tell him if he doesn't wear it, it's not going to happen until he does. Period, end of story.
Good luck sweetie. Hope this helped. Think this over carefully-- it's a BIG decision. You don't want to make the wrong choice.

You should wait. Like and love are two different feelings and you are just too young to understand what love is. I know you don't want to hear that but it is so true. You will never ever forget your first time so you should wait and give it to someone that loves you and vise versa.
I know i am not your mom or even your sister but later on if you do sleep with him you may wish you never had and you can't never get your virginity back.
Are you being pressured into having sex since he is older than you?
If he loves you then he will wait on you. Try that if he is not willing to wait then you will know if he is just after sex.
My first time was when i was 16 years old and i was so in love and he loved me too. I do not regret it and you know why? I am still with him. We have been together since we were 15 years old now we are both 27 with a five year old son. (We're married)
can you say that you will be with this guy right on and on? Why lose it to someone that you might just be talking to for a few weeks or a couple of months.?
If your going to have sex go and get on birth control. You know you can do that without your mom's help at the health department for free. Make sure you use condoms.
Just think really hard about this before acting upon it.

It depends on what state you're in (assuming you're in the US). Each state has different "ages of consent" which say when a person is considered an adult, in terms of sex. So if 16 is the age of consent in your state, it might be illegal for you to date this guy. Also, some states have other laws about age and sex, especially when one person is 13.
Not to pour the cold water of reality on your situation but he's 16 and you're 13: from my own past experiences of being a teenage boy, there's a chance that he's just playing you and using you for sex. I'm not claiming that this is the case but don't completely dismiss this idea.
Also, if you do have sex with him BE SAFE ABOUT IT. Being 13 does NOT protect you from getting an STD or becoming pregnant. If you don't know how to have safe sex then maybe you shouldn't be having sex yet. Also, he's older than you and is probably more sexually experienced than you (and there's a good chance he'll lie about that to make you feel better) so there is always the possibility that he has come into contact with an STD. STDs happen to teenagers all the time, age is no protection.

It may not be technically illegal depending on where you live but even so, it's not right. There are several reasons with the first one being that a three year age difference at your particular age is HUGE. Even if you love him - you also need to ask yourself if you are truly mature enough to deal with the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy, STD's or anything else that could possibly happen - including your parents finding out.
I think you already know the answer because if you didn't have any doubts at all, you wouldn't have asked.

I know you think you're all grown up... I've been there! The guy I lost my virginity to I swear we loved eachother and we were going to get married have kids, etc.
I was 14. Honestly I look at that now and think of how little I was (I know I didn't think so at the time and sure you won't think so either). But, I wish I would have saved that for someone that I really had a future with. Guys, even at 20 are so immature that trust me, it's not going to last! I'm sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news but I guarentee you want something totally different then him!
I'm now 26 married and expecting my first child! And Mr. I'm 14 and I'm so in love with him is a thing of the very distant past! I'm sure you'll do what you want to do anyways but please... if you do decide to have sex with him, please make sure that you are protected from STD's and pregnancy!

You are under age and it is illegal. If you do sleep with him, he could go to jail. If you really love him, you won't put him in such a situation. You need to check your state laws for the age of consent: It can be as young as 14 and as old as 18.

You're only 13 and still a child. If you're having these 'urges' take a cold shower and keep away from boys. You should not even date until you are at least 18 or older. You need to mature before you even think about having sex and what love really is.

well so what if HES been wanting it for a while.. do you feel comfortable and mature enough to handle the reponsibility of sex (pregnancy and STD's?) hwo long have you been going out? are you sure thats not all he's after? I would wait if I were you. wait till you are more mature and understrand the meaning of SEX. it is very emotional. and if you break up then you will regret it. then when you DO meet that special someone youll think "i regret sleepign with my ex i shouldve saved my most special gift for this person) i have seen it happen many times..
you have all your life to have sex
and i dont understand why you put like/love him... do you have your doubts if you truly ove him or not?
i would wait if i were you. and if he keeps bringin it up then leave him cause thats al hes after... you would be just a nother "notch" on his belt...
what is a while?? a while for me was/is 2 years! lol

You need to grow up.By asking us on the internet you are emotionally immature. If you were my daughter then Iwould be very angry. How well do you know him?lLiking and loving are two different things. Does he love you? For all you know he may have slept with other girls and could pass on infectious diseases. Then there is the possibility of becoming pregnant. I would say no to sleeping with him.You are only 13.

You're 13 and you want to have sex with a 16 year old and you pretended you had a baby?
Maybe you need to sit down with your parents and have a talk with them instead of us.
