Lets see...in the story that I am writing (doesn't have a title yet), there are about six to ten characters, and most of them are crucial to the plot. My story has a lot of cliffhangers. A main character loved by all could die. Who knows...

I add about 5 per day, sometimes more sometimes less, but there's always ones leaving too, so it kinda balances out at around 372
