Final Fantasy would be the best video game series. Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II are also an awesome duo. Zelda is really good too.

Grand theft auto bc it has been around for a minute but never really got lame as smb and zelda have over the years. halo would be a contender except that it isn't a real series yet (2 games does not a series make)

all time would totally be super mario just because it was so famous and basically everyone played it. for the newer generation definately halo for the simple reason that its a good game and is really addictive even when you are terrible at it.

Halo, not just because I like it but because there are facts to back it up. It is the most selling game ever.
