I always wondered about that too, so I asked my friend who is in the army, and she said every girl carries 1 tampon or pad and so whoever has their period, she just uses everyone elses. Sucks huh? Usually only 1 or 2 girls are on their period so there is enough tampons or pads to go around. However, they only got one tiny napkin (the kind that is in the wrapper with a spork and knife) ..the use this napkin, not when they eat that comes with the meal, but they save it for when they have to do #2 in the woods. :/ Yikes, huh? :( And no, she said it is not enough.

If you are referring to basic training, obviously women are given sanitary supplies.Some women don't get their periods in basic due to the stress and increased physical activity. In the Army when women are doing outdoor training for long periods, they are required access to a shower at least every three days. I hope that answers your question.

They have stores on the army bases just like in your town where they carry supplies like that.
You just go on with life, just as in any other job. The world does not stop just because a woman has her periods.

Trust me, that is all taken care of. Just because being in the military is pretty much the utmost embodiment of "roughing it" that doesn't mean that you don't get the BARE essentials.

You do the same thing as a civilian female...pads or tampons, and midol.

You deal with it. You are treated no differently when you have your period than any other time. You are a soldier.

i have always wondered did the go easy on you when you got bad cramps and flooding,do they make you march anyway
