u can reformat a cd-rw, not a cd-r
it's just a one way traffic

u could have only one 25 kb file on it & yet burnt up entire cd
get a new one

use multisession when writing to cd-r
meaning the option to add files later

No! You can only reformat erase a CD RW.

You can delete files from a cd-r but can't re-use the space

You think it is empty?

Find out for sure, put it in, go to my computer, and click on CD-ROM. See if it is truly empty.

If it's been recorded once, then you can't again.

No, a cd-r is a use once and thats it. Sometimes if you had a failed write to a cd-r it ruins it for good.....
