Here's another great site -- http://www.dancesportmusic.com/waltz.html

There are a lot of CDs made for ballroom -- Casa Musica makes some really great ones. If you want to look for music on your own, here are some tips: Generally, waltzes will not be found in popular music, but there's a European band called Secret Garden that writes a lot of beautiful waltzes. Get the album called "Songs from a Secret Garden" -- there are four absolutely brilliant waltzes there. Rumba and cha-cha beats are common in popular music -- listen to some of the music you already own to see if you have any music already. Christina Aguilera's "Lady Marmalade" and Pink's "Get the Party Started" are cha-chas, as well as "Represent, Cuba" from the movie Dirty Dancing. Santana and Marc Anthony also write lots of chachas. Good luck!

To find some of the music, you can try searching http://www.altavista.com/audio/default with results limited to >1 minute.

I was recently at a recital of ballroom dancing. Would you believe they used for a cha cha M. Jacksons 'beat it'. It was so funny. but the instructor said it is the beat and not necessarily the words. The recital or performance went rather well. Except for some laughter at the song choice.
