Came right Down to the Last Ball of the match, NZ were 9 Down, had to rely on their Bowlers to win the game for them! Mason finished the job by hitting a 4 off the last ball off the inning!
Thats why you gotta love cricket, only game where ur relying on ur specialist bowlers to take over the role of a batsmen in those situations to hit the winning runs, Mason look pretty Nervous too..

Yea, well it would be nice to think so.
SL did the right thing and had everyone no more than 20m from the bat to stop any chance of a single, Jayasuria bowling another good move, just Mason came through on the last ball, when his other options were closed.
It was good batting that they did not force a play on the earlier balls, don't take a risk when you still had a few left.
Notice how all the players enjoyed that ending, even the SL players had a smile on their face a little while..
really good to see, good series so far, 1-1, and the calvary for NZ is about to arrive with Bond and Fleming back. Here is to the rest of the series..

Full credit to Tail enders of New Zeland. They kept their nerve even under presssure and helped New Zeland to level the series 1-1.
