Some women have no symptoms and are surprised to find out in their yearly exam.

Some women are debilitated from them.

The most common symptoms of fibroid tumors are:
1. Heavy menstrual bleeding.
2. Fullness in the abdomen.
3. Severe pain during menstrual cycle.

I have fibroid tumors, but other than the severe pain, there was no indication I had them until they did a laparascopic surgery on me, thinking I had endometriosis.

I was just 23 when I had this done, which is WAY young for fibroid tumors (usually they happen closer to menopause age...late 30's earliest to early 50's), so it totally caught us all off guard.

I was given Lupron injections to shrink the tumors...and they got down to marble size, but now are back to golf ball and baseball sized.

Sorry I can't post more, but do a google on fibroids and you'll find out even more of what you need to know.
