I just gave birth at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael and they will make sure it's installed properly for you. Most hospitals will make sure they are installed properly before they let you take the baby home. Good luck!

Most cities you can take it to the police station or fire station to get it checked. You can call your local social services to ask for a phone number to get information or you should call the hospital nearest you and ask them where they refer their new parents too.
