When Sir Paul McCartney sang "I wake up to the sound of music"?

Was he saying that he realises The Sound Of Music is a piece of crap? Or is there some deeper meaning. Careful, this is Sir Paul McCartney we're talking about here.

I think that he woke up hearing the music that all musicians hear in their heads. I am an accomplished pianist and I wake up to the sound of wonderful chords running through my mind in the morning, or afternoon, depends on how late I stay up. And that, I'm sure, is what he meant, unless he was still high from the night before and thought he actually heard music, lol.
