Madam Sonia Gandhi is playing a key role in Indian Pollitics.
After the assassination of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, she(Sonia) is taking place of her. She is beyond the screen still very much
active & directive from the off-screen.

I had great respect this lady. She gave up her homeland and became a true India - following traditions of a Indian bride. Her husband, though not a Satya Harischandra, is the only politician to be called Mr Clean.
My respect for Sonia crumbled when she went to Madras to meet Jayalalitha several years back. The whole world knew how corrupt Jayalalitha but still Sonia wanted to meet her. Why, if not for power and political gain ?
Recently she inducted another corrupt politician from Karnataka to congress. The previous Karnataka congress chief minister was not an honest man, either.
As far as I can see, she has surrounded herself with a big bunch of crooks and criminals. Does she not know their backgrounds and what sort of people they are ? Or, is she just plain stupid ? I think she knows and is doing it willingly. This being the case, I also think the proverb "show me your friends and I will tell you who you are" holds good here.

Some great person born, inspired we learnt from history. If you want to know about a living hero and learn love, sacrifice, honesty, integrity, brave , a smiling face among adversity, courage in the tough time and you want these character in you just follow her. One want an indomitable will and clear thinking ability to take a decision as over throwing the PM post & MP Post. Nothing is so challenging to a women of her stature to be so targeted, cornered politically and personally as in the 2004 election camping. But she came victorious. The beaming face always sends the positive message “have courage - the destiny is yours”.

A country unite under a national flag .sonia gandhi is a flag of congress party .Sonia does not need congress .congress need her to get unite.

She watches a lot and does little-.. makes others to work, as per their wish, in thier respective fields, but prevents that, which she does not wish.! Without her, there will be a vacuum in congress and in the country.
Bush and other European countries have soft corner for India in their hearts due to her, to some extent.

I like her. She appears to have understood the nuances of Indian politics and her difficulties in heading the party, because of her foreign origin. To me, she is a well meaning person.
