i'm thinking of getting a brazillian..and am worried about the pain..but not as much as am worried and feeling awkward about having some random girl do it to me..
anybody out there who's got experience can tell me how is it like?

As someone who does waxing I can tell you that the waxing tech has seen it ALL and is not looking at you in a sexual or judgemental way.
They've seen hundreds if not thousands of people "down there" and its just a job that needs to be done.
It may hurt a bit... heck youre pulling your hair out! Most spas have numbing lotions to help that and a good tech will use techniques to minimize discomfort. If you go back again, it will hurt a bit less. The first time is always the worst, but most people say it wasnt nearly as bad as they thought it would be, and definately worth it.

I've gotten a Brazillian wax a few times. The first time is always the most uncomfortable and slightly painful.
The tip I can give you is to RELAX. If you go in there tense and if your tense when they are doing it... its going to hurt a LOT worse.

Here's the scoop...
I worked in a salon for a while and had it done. I does hurt, especially the further down you go.
As for having some other girl down there, that's your comfort zone, but they do this professionally and have seen just about as many "areas" as your gyno.
It is also more effective if you let your hair grow out for about a week before hand.
It is well worth it and you'll love the results!

well yes it hurts. you can just shave if you want to get it bare by yourself. but it's much easier to have a professional do it.
