Reality is so heart breaking sometimes. Generally speaking, when will I start feeling the benefits of facing it? What are the benefits? Pretending and hoping was so much more comforting.

As hard as it is to hear and know the truth it is essential for you to grow and move on. Pretending keeps you stuck in the past and ultimately it stops you from growing. How can you become the wonderful human being that God created you to be if you don't let go of the past and embrace the future and truth that is far better than that lie?

You need to get out and kick up your heels right now, being alone is not the cure for this problem. Get on the phone and talk with someone, and try to get some human contact in a physical form. Listen to their problems and or philosophies. Watch a comedy, and take your mind off into oblivion for a while, then when you hope, hope only for good health and happiness and it will come to you. You are not going to get anywhere grieving over these things, life plays tricks on us all the time, but some tricks are good ones. you may turn the corner and bump into the love of your life. But if you are a stick in the mud and are morbid you will never find out and never be able to pursue your goals either. Happy New Year

Rejection always begins with the Self, that is only when external approval and hence disapproval has any significance in our internal life.

Otherwise we would only take it as other people’s personal choices or opinions and not a direct reflection of who we are within.

Truly speaking, we cannot be rejected by anyone nor can we ever do the same to any one else. As universally our acceptance for our existence is absolute, so is its love for us. It does not depend on who we are or what we do; it is only based upon the fact that we are a part of the universe itself.

That is why when we reject others we are actually rejecting ourselves. The same holds true for others, as it only goes on to show that they were unwilling or unable to accept our entirety or got stuck in the superficiality of the personality driven facades that usually drive our everyday lives and that we never bothered to look beyond the obvious and touch upon the level of soul, in us or others.

When we truly become one with ourselves, we do so with others as well.

This vicious cycle of approval and disapproval ends when we learn to accept ourselves and our choices thereof, completely.

This means that no matter what we might have done or would do external our love for ourselves remains unconditional, that is when the cycle breaks instantly and forever - with the acceptance of the Self. After all self worth is only created by the Self, ourselves.

External disapproval only makes us aware of the lack of approval within and makes us possible to look for other way of approval rather than remain dependent and hence controlled by our external environment. That lack of external approval in life can be a blessing in disguise as we then learn to base our self approval on self appraisal rather than someone else’s.

I hear ya, been there, done that...there was a time when I was going through a lot of sh*t in my life (divorce, separation, depression etc) I was crying while driving and I decided to turn on the radio, I was driving from L.A. to San Francisco and I could
not get any radio station, so I just let it scan on its own, until I heard Diana Krall's version of Pick yourself up, for some reason I analyzed the lyrics and it made me feel so good and decided to never be a martyr ever again, it takes time to heal, pray, and patience my dear, and lots of jazz music!.

**Pick yourself Up**
Pick yourself up...
Take a deep breath...
Dust yourself off
And start all over again.

Nothing's impossible, I have found
For when my chin is on the ground.
I pick myself up,
Dust myself off
And start all over again.

Don't lose your confidence
If you slip
Be grateful for a pleasant trip
And pick yourself up,
Dust yourself off
And start all over again.

Work like a soul inspired
Until the battle of the day is won.
You may be sick and tired,
But you'll be a man, my son.

Will you remember the famous men
Who had to fall to rise again
They picked themselves up
Dust themselves off
And start'd all over again.

cheer up! happy new year's!

Rejection, is your own choice, reality is cruel if you don't choose wisely, to avoid rejection don't look for acceptance from others.
