if you found out your very best friends husband was smoking crack and stealing drugs behind her back. he doesn't work and thats all she does all the time. she also raised his kids while he spent 15 years drunk.

your loyalty is to your friend, not her husband. she will be better knowing the truth, even if it really hurts. he will eventually drag her down with him. just be her friend and support her in any way you can. if you tell her and she does nothing about it, then that is her choice

Tell your best friend the truth, if you really care for her you will get her and her husband some professional assistance - Suggest that they go to therapy together.
