Who's to say that another psychotic towel head won't take his place in a few seconds?

Because he is history. Everybody would like to change history that's why people talk about it. History gives people a voice, an opinion, a play on words that they can't control but wish they could.

How about because he was an evil, murdering dictator who was responsible for thousands of deaths, not to mention rapes, tortures and the oppression of all the Iraqi people? Besides, he was breathing perfectly good air that someone else can now breathe.

Saddam Hussein impacted many people lives. His death was highly anticipated by others also because they couldb't wait to see the man who killed their own family to die. Many Arabs live in America today; you may not see them but it is important to them.

Saddam Hussein murdered thousands or more of his people. His execution at their hands was their justice.

I would think it a fitting warning to any psychos salivating to replace him.

Because it is a victory in the war for America, it puts other dictators on notice, and it gives the iraqis a chance at a better system in the future (it is up to them to seize this opportunity)

Because that's the entire reason we ever entered Iraq?

I don't support the war by any means, but according to our government, we went there to take Saddam and his regime out and bring democracy to Iraq.
