Oh, no! Think about a car speaker, there is nothing in a speaker that can be damaged! You could set the headphones in a freezer, I left my ipod in my car overnight when it was -7 outside, it was fine, but a deep freeze is really hard on a ipod, but if its outside for an hour its ok! No worries for a cold mornign jog or anything!

I don't know about the headphones themselves, but I know that cold temperatures are generally not good for iPods. You should keep it in your pocket close to your body so it stays warm.

If they are in your ears the warmth of your body should be more than adequate to keep them from being damaged.

You should be more worried about sweat and dirt.
