This anime is really good. It's about a girl who is too shy to admit her feelings for a certain guy. The guy is also finding a girlfriend. But he couldn't because everyone was afraid of him. then one day, the girl became that boy's right hand and everything went crazy!
You can watch it on youtube. Enjoy it! It's one of my favourite animes!

Have you already seen Fruits Basket? (it seems like everybody likes that one, despite it not being perfectly perky all the time). If you don't mind adding a little bit of action into the mix with the comedy/romance plot style, you might try Samurai Deeper: Kyo... and definitely check out the outtakes on that one.

Try checking Gakuen Alice/Alice Academy...can't suggest so much right now. Also try Honey and Clover. I hope it might help even just a little bit.

Yu Yu Hakusho is awesome.
FullMetal Alchemist is awesome, also Bleach...they're funny...
