what do you think of it i guess it's the best one i've wrote yet

the day's when everybody roamed the streets without worry
it was bellbottom's and a-track tapes

well i miss those days when everything was good
we had women,the perfect song on and the sun always shined
god how i miss those days

i miss the days when it was haggard,jones and hank jr.
the days when you love and live freely
when it was big hair and paraschute pants

well i miss those days when everything was sweet
we had love,a van and there were always blue skies
god how i miss those days

now there's computers,hybrid cars and a trip to mars

well i miss the days when everything was good
we had women,the perfect song on and the sun always shined

just to clarify things about the women part

didn't mean it the way it sounded with the women

the women part is telling the world on a time that we had women and we were on top of it no offense against women.

Actually I quite liked it. I thought that some of the metaphysical imagery was particularly effective. Interesting rhythmic devices too, which seemed to counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor of the humanity of the poet's compassionate soul, which contrives through the medium of the verse structure to sublimate this, transcend that, and come to terms with the fundamental dichotomies of the other and one is left with a profound and vivid insight into whatever it was the song is about!

Pretty good song I can swear I've heard something like it in the past though, get a good beat with it maybe tweek a few things around and it'll be really good.

It kind of sounds like a country song from a couple of years ago. Actually...a lot like the song.

It's nice but it should say "8-track tapes" not "a-track tapes".
