Whats better.. an XBox 360 or PS3?

360-it has better games, better graphics, a much better controller, and a better look, and superb online play

ps3 has a terrible controller, its online play is terrible, the games are not fun, and blu-ray is only for sony, so people cannot copy their discs

Look realy iam a PS3 guy here but since that is pertty exspensive you might just want to settle for a 360 then in 1 year when the prices are down just trow the 360 BESIDES IF YOU LIKE TO PLAY ONLINE THE PS3 IS FREE NOT LIKE THE 360 X-BOX LIVE CRAP THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR DUER in the trash if it even last for a year but by far ps3 if alot better the controler is some what like the WII but not so interactive as it but haveing the WIFI enternet(wireless internet) and media drives(for memory carde for cammras some what like the PSP) well by far the PS3 is by far better then 360 AND WII together

It's really very close , but in the long run the PS3 will have better games and it has a crap load of others features, but the xbox 360 will have Halo 3 so if ur a Halo like me u'll have to have one.

XBox 360, it plays all the old games whereas the PS3 does not they never worked all the glitches out, andPS3 costs and arm and a leg, I personally like the graphics on a XBox better too

Stick with the xbox 360, when I saw the PS3 on pisplay in gamestop at the mall all I thought was "SHINY" the system just has a shine to it, that's the most appealing thing i saw about it,

XBOX 360 RULES and it has HALO

I'd really have to say the PS3. Just because it's newer.
BUT, I really like neither. I'd stick with the Wii, even though it HAS been recalled because of technical difficulties. The Wii is much more creative and fun. Though if really good graphics are important to you, the Wii wouldn't fit the deal.

here are pro's and cons of each:

xbox 360:

-over 100 games in HD already available
-Xbox Live is Awesome
-"Halo" and "Gears of War"
-Good and easy to use controller
-cheaper

cons:
-very few RPG games
-no wi-fi (u can get it for $100 extra, there is a receiver unit)
-Xbox Live is not free to do multiplayer gaming
-big brick sized power supply outside of the console
-overheating problems

PS3
Pros
-Powerful processor
-can play old PS1 and PS2 games
-BluRay player
-built-in power supply
-free online gaming
-Full HD (1080p)

Cons
-expensive
-controller is poorly designed (removed vibration, added motion sensing which really sucks...for example if u play a basket ball game, you have to literally tilt your controller 180 degrees for it to juke out a player...or press a button. its a useless feature they copied from wii)
-lots of problems w/ it freezing up
-online gaming is free, but it sucks
-games right now suck
-system+extra controller+1 game+HDMI cable (to get full HD) = more than $820 (ridiculously expensive)



In essence, they are good but depending on ur use, it depends. Also...don't get either one right now. why?

-xbox 360 is coming out with an updated console with better hardware (the cpu will be made in 65nm instead of the 90 nm)
-they might fix the power supply and overheating problems
-expected to come out in summer 2007

-ps3 sucks right now, no good games, too expensive, too many bugs, overrated..
