Racing game for PS2?

OK, I saw a commercial a while back for a racing game for PS2. At one point in the commercial it showed a guy who got ejected from the car and was sliding across the freeway into crash barriers. I laughed so hard I missed the name of the game. Anyone know what game I'm talking about?

yeah it was Flat Out. either the 1 or 2 check at gamestop.com or walmart they probably have it.
