Something we must assume each time we want to do something, in order to succeed...

do you mean the game or the word?
The word means you are taking a chance, a gamble of sorts.
A calculated risk is the only one to take. The dare risks, are dangerous. Like if someone asks you to go whitewater rafting without life jackets, then that is a dare and a risk you should not take. The calculated risk is if you have to go to two places around the same time, and you try to be at both but you are late, that is the chance you took but you still made it. Experimentation of any kind is a risk, but sometimes when it is calculated it is okay. Otherwise no it is not good. The game is at Toys'R' Us

Well, I belive that there are two meanings of risk.

Meaning I feel: Something that you are undecided of if you should do. Something which you end up doing and you want to do but are afraid of what people think. It is the uttermost feeling that some people have to have.

Dictionary Meaning: risk (rsk) KEY

NOUN:

The possibility of suffering harm or loss; danger.
A factor, thing, element, or course involving uncertain danger; a hazard: "the usual risks of the desert: rattlesnakes, the heat, and lack of water" (Frank Clancy).

The danger or probability of loss to an insurer.
The amount that an insurance company stands to lose.

The variability of returns from an investment.
The chance of nonpayment of a debt.
One considered with respect to the possibility of loss: a poor risk.
TRANSITIVE VERB:

Risk is the probability of an outcome being different from what is expected or intended. Future uncertainty makes risk an ever present feature of all our actions..... we can never make risk zero except as a concept. We need to weigh the risks against the expected benefits to decide a course of action.

RISK is a game of global domination which I played earlier today. It usually leads to intense conflicts between friends, as people try to form alliances or friendly understandings, even if these are specifically outlawed. For the record, I did not win and did not lose - I was forced by circumstances to try to hold Europe, and it came at continually high costs. The lesson: never try to conquer Europe.

RISK also teaches us the valuable lesson that no matter how smart we may think we are, life is still quite dependent on random luck - the random luck that keeps (most of) us from dying in a car accident every day.

Use the website below for a definition. Also, RISK is a board game where you try to conquer the world one country at a time.

RISK is something you take in life to experience the good stuff you wouldn't know about if you didn't take the RISK.

(does that make sense?)

Taking a chance. If you ever get the opportunity to take one then do it. What is life without risk?

a risk is anything you do that could cause you to be hurt or lose something, for instance, not abstaining from drugs and sex is risky behaviour.

Risk is also a board game.
