Do you know any one that has a really silly dumb, nick name that they like to go by ? But because it sounds silly or dumb (well at least to you) you call them by there given name? Even though they keep telling you to call them by there nick name,seeing every one else does!

Yeah nick names are strange unless you've always called them by that or you made it up by yourself. I have only called people by their nick name if thats what I've always known them by. I remember everyone called this girl Antonia Toni. Well I couldn't be bothered changing it... So just call your friend by whatever makes you most comfortable. And if they keep moaning at you for it... then maybe think about changing it. Some people are blessed with really ugly names and you have to take that into consideration.

I know quite a few from past and present-one of the funniest I remember was a guy named derimiah , and was nick named dieria or dairy mom, me I just called him derrick, more kosher, think he liked it better, but he never said....another one was named barett and nick named - Bar Rat or candybar (he loved chocolate and so was designated that...I use to call him bare not bear and he never knew the difference...that is just a couple of nicknames from many in my past...It's funny how some people get their nick names...:) :) :)

Have you ever noticed that people who try to give themselves a nickname are almost always pretty lame? I knew a guy who I called ankle biter because he was a little yappy backstabber. He tried to get people to call him "hammer". What a doofus. Ankle biter stuck on him until he left the company...

Yes I do. His real name is Jason but they call him J-Dawg. I'm not calling him that. It's so stupid. I'll stick to Jason.

Yeah. My friend Matts entire group of friends and his mom call him "****" but i call him matt, because i think its weird.
