Often men stay because of their lack of self. If they have no sense of self security they will often cling to a womans skirt. This is not a quality that any woman looks for in a man. Generally most men have an idea of what they want in a companion. Perhaps those needs may change in time.That is when a women like myself begins to wonder. Am I no longer enough? Today I am asking the same question. My only hope that as time and maturity takes place in our lives that both women and men realize that as people we have actually changed. Hopefully communication and compromise could be a great start to accomplish overcoming a man or a womans annoyance.

There'll be different answers to that one. (Too nebulous a question) but from my own perspective, It's cause not staying is admitting that the woman was'nt the person we thought, and may have been playing long enough to lure us into it, cause they only REALLY liked the status or expensive toys they got by marrying us.

Because a marriage is not something to walk away from because you are annoyed. A couple takes vows to love, honor and cherish in sickness and in health and in good times and bad. Those vows should mean something.

Maybe he just doesn't want to look like the one that gave up on the relationship.... maybe he would rather drive the woman over the edge to leave...so that way..he can say it was her fault. I don't know... I'm sorry for your torment...maybe the new year will be way better. Best of luck!

Because they are willing to put up with their wives for the promise they made. You can also put money, sex, and stability.

Either they want to try and learn how to get past it to stay with them or they are afraid to go through divorce. Sometimes it is even so the wife wouldn't try to get him to go to marriage counseling...

do you work? i think that you become more appealing to them if you have a life. even if you do not work, its important that you have things going on in your life, then you wont be obsessed
