Who needs to stop:

With a normal pregnancy, you can keep doing it right up until your water breaks. Do check with your doctor or midwife first if you've been treated for premature labor or if you're having any problems with your pregnancy, such as a shortened or dilated cervix, leaking amniotic fluid, placenta previa, or bleeding, or if you have a history of miscarriages. There are some instances when you should avoid having sex.

As for Posititions:

• Lie sideways. Having your partner on top demands increasingly creative gymnastics as your tummy swells. But lying partly sideways allows your partner to keep most of his weight off your uterus.

• Use the bed as a prop. Your bulge isn't an obstacle if you lie on your back at the side or foot of the bed with your knees bent, and your bottom and feet perched at the edge of the mattress. Your partner can either kneel or stand in front of you.

• Lie side-by-side in the spoon position, which allows for only shallow penetration. Deep thrusts can become uncomfortable as the months pass.

• Get on top of your partner. It puts no weight on your abdomen and allows you to control the depth of penetration.

• Have your partner enter you from a sitting position, which also puts no weight on the uterus. Try sitting on your partner's lap as he sits on a sturdy chair.

I am the proud mother of 2 and with both I continued having sex through the entire pregnancy. Unless you are under restrictions the choice to stop is purely yours. With my first I didn't get very big so not much changed. With my second I was huge! So in that case the best positions were doggie and girl on top. My doctor told me, with both pregnancies, sex is always a good way to start your labor when its time. There is a chemical in semen that helps to soften your cervix. And a pelvic floor orgasm will help your cervix start contracting. Good luck! And have fun! Not much time or energy for sex once your little bundle of joy has arrived!

I heard its safe if you have a normal and healthy pregnancy. You can even use sex to start your labor. I would ask the doc though because it might just be an old wives tale, but I had sex up until a few days before I had my son. As far as positions just make sure you dont put too much pressure on the bambino and enjoy!

As long as your Doctor says it's okay, you can have sex any time during your pregnancy (until your water breaks!)
Woman on top is a good position as you can control depth (deep penetration can become uncomfortable as the uterus grows large).
If being on top is too tiring, or you don't feel like you look all that sexy right now (I'm sure you look beautiful), there's always rear entry, it gets your belly out of the way, and doesn't strain those loose joints we all get during pregnancy. I hope you have a lot of fun! Congrats on the little one.

You shouldn't have to stop having sex unless your doctor tells you to. It does get a little more difficult as you get bigger, you'll have to figure out what works for you. At the end of pregnancy having sex can bring on labor and that is a blessing! Plus, you can't get pregnant when you already are so it can really be the best sex ever!

You don't need to stop, some woman find they are very sexually excited during the whole pregnancy. You on top, or him behind you are comfortable positions when you start to get bigger.

Do whatever is comfortable until it is no longer comfortable. You may need to experiment with positions that do not require him on top, like standing, side by side, etc. You can have sex until you go into labor, as long as, there are no problems and both of you are comfortable. Good luck and congrats.

You don't ever have to stop having sex unless your doctor advises you to do so. I am 28 weeks pregnant (2nd child) and had to stop having intercourse because of placentia previa (my placenta is close to the cervix, and they are afraid that it could start bleeding), so I am just OUT OF LUCK until they do another ultrasound to see if the placenta has moved away from the cervix or I have the baby. My first baby we had to refrain from intercourse a few times because of preterm labor problems. So, unless you are having problems, have lots of sex and have fun!

You can have sex all the way up until the water breaks, in fact, my wife's doctor told us to have sex because it could induce labor. What ever position is comfortable works just fine.

Unless there are medical problems.DON"T STOP!!! Whats the point of stopping a good thing? The best position for us (cause my belly was huge) was me on all fours and him behind me. Good luck.
