No, LT is not the best ever. He is still developig into one of the greatest running backs ever. He has the speed and skills to outmanuever any one on te defense.

No and the simple reason is he was an unknown for 5 years! It's that the offensive line is doing the job. Here is my evidence. Mike Turner has 69 carries with 6.4 yards a carry as opposed to LT at 5.3 yards per carry. The quarterback was only sacked 25 times this season.
His teammate, Mike Scifres, might be the best punter the game has ever seen. In three seasons he has punted 206 times in his career, with two seasons having 71 yard punts, only 18 touch backs but 86 being downed inside the 20 (so 50% of the time the other team has to start at their 20 yard, 41.7% they have to go further than 80 yards for a touch down and 11% chance the team will have to go over 90 yards for a touch down. This guy defines bad field position for the opposition.
This season Scifres has 66 punts, just 2 touch backs and has forced the opposing team to go over 80 yards 48% including the 13.6% of the time the opposing team has to go over 90 yards.

He's not even the best in the NFL right now. Larry Johnson is. Even if he's better than LJ and that's doubtful, he's still not better than Jim Brown, OJ Simpson, or Jamal Lewis. Simpson and Lewis both did something Tomlinson never did, run for 2000 yards, and they did it without a passing game (Buffalo threw for 6 TDs the year Simpson did it and Lewis's 2000 yard year was also Kyle Boller's rookie season).
All that talk on ESPN is nothing more than usual ESPN slant. Tomlinson's probably one of the top 50 RBs in history, but he's not in the top 25.

He definitely has the potential. This year he already shattered the record for most touchdowns in a season. If he stays healthy, he'll be up there with the all time greats. It would be a thing to see if he could go up against Jim Brown when he was in his prime.

He is breaking records every time he steps out on the field but he has to be the best for many years and lead his team to superbowls like Emmit Smith, Walter Payton, and Marshall Faulk. Also someone that i didn't mention was Barry Sanders.
