Physics, like Chemistry (to which physics also has application) Biology and Math ( which can describe and has application to EVERY THING) is one of the basic sciences that has a part to play in all the 'specialty' sciences. Geo-physics, Bio-physics, are just the most obvious.
Science in general, which must include physics has applications in absolutely everything we do, everyday of our lives. Most folks never know this because they don't pay attention, ask questions or know much about science.

Application of Physics in everyday life is many.1 When u walk friction occurs which helps u regulate ur motion which would otherwise be continuous.2 When u sit in a bus and when it suddenly starts moving, u tend to fall backwards. It is because of inertia of rest, which has the tendency to continue its state of rest.3 Same thing occurs when the bus stops suddenly. In this case u fall in front.4 When u see a coin inside a beaker of water it appers to be in much more raised position (apparent position). This is caused due to rifraction of light in a different media.

There are innumerous other applications like this. One could even right a book with this.So think on mate!
