Yes this sounds like the start of labour. If you've had the bloody show then your body is ready to start labour or it already has. Your contractions should be continuous for about an hour & be 5-10 minutes apart before you can say you are in true labour. How exciting....................

It sounds like prelabor to me. You can have regular contractions for hours and they stop. If you aren't dialating, you're not in labor, yet. But, the good news is that it will happen soon! Try walking around, or if your water hasn't broken, have sex. If you are in labor, it will put you into more active labor. Good luck!

Labor is regular contractions that are not eased by laying down, etc. and they don't generally go away. If you are concerned call your doctor and see what they say. Good luck!

Here's a really good website that explains the difference between false and true labor. Hope that this helps.

if it is around your due date you could be going into pre labor its not actually considered labor until you are dilated to 4 and have consistant contractions every couple of mins but if you are concerned call your doctor its what they are there for.

Yes. When are you due? Contractions will become consistent indefinitely when the time has come. Try lying down and see if they stop. If so it isn't quite time yet. Good luck

With any pregnancy, "bloody show", is not a good sign. As a mother of two, get off of here and get ur butt to the Hospital!!!!
