You do realize that by leaving the marriage you will have to work, right? In cases of divorce, either the house is sold, or they leaving party buys that party that is staying in the house out of the loan. If he buys you out of the house, he will probably have to refinance the house into solely your his name. How much equity has been built up in the house? That is a factor to include as well. Do you have another place to live in the interim until he is able to buy you out of the house. Talk to a lawyer, they can best advise you on how to gets things done amicably.

Contact a divorce attorney and he will tell you what all your options are. I was scared to death to divorce my husband. I was scared that I wouldn't be able to support myself & my daughter properly. I got the courage to file for divorce and everything eventually worked out for me financially and emotionally.
If you are sure you want to divorce your husband then just do it. Things will work out. It may be hard at first but things will work out eventually.

Tell him he can keep the house, but he has to give you enough money to make up for losing your part of it.

1st get a job or do like most women and shack up w/ some other man... I'm sure you have one... no women leaves her man until she has another... you will have to be awarded half the house in your divorce decree for him to have to buy you out of it...
