Yes, you can. The colleges prefer you stay within your major's area, but it is not "written in stone." Since your major is Biology, the college would prefer you to minor in another science discipline, however it is not mandatory. Also, Nutrition could be classified as a science in some schools.

yeah your major usually has nothing to do with your minor. I majored in engineering and minored in economics.

I don't see why not. You should be able to do whatever you want. I think the required classes for both of these will be somewhat similar so give it a shot.
